| It has to be the OC, not the HC, that says the words for them to actually mean something. |

I would venture to suggest that what Saunders left unsaid is that "they" know what works in the NFL - that is a little different than what Turner was saying - the college game is NOT the NFL!
The "we" is Gibbs and Saunders, enough said.
I have my tickets to the show on Sept. 11 - I think we are going to see something special. |

| Given Joe Gibbs history in pre-season and Al Saunders history in pre-season, it is a wonder that we do not owe games. Worry when the regualr season opens. Someone should start a mandatory fans trainng camp. Prospective fans show up, are put through a series of worry excercises, such as the quarterback quandry, the running back quandry, the offense and defense rumor mill, attending public practice sessions, handling miscellaneous rumors. We can get the Redskin cheer leader to make up a cheer for the fans and perform at the close of fan training camp. LOL!!! |

| While Saunders' comments help explain the struggles on offense, they don't really do much to explain why the players have played with absolutely no intensity whatsoever during the preseason. The lack of intensity, much more so than the poor execution, is what has me concerned. |

| I think the Skins will be fine this year, but what did everyone expect Saunders to say. Even if there was trouble he wouldn't say that to the media, so why is everyone jumping back on the bandwagon after this one interview. The true test will be on the 11th and I am hoping for a blowout victory over the vikings. |
