I hope he bombs too...what's next? The NFL draft could be abolished and it will be an open market to the highest bidder - the NFL will be the No Fun League (apologies to Gerry Glanville) for the fans...I guess the cap will keep things even but a lot of various strategies will out the window...

the cap ...or until one of these nieve kids gets injured seriously, or even paralyzed by the grown men the are up against. hell, at 18-20 yrs old most guys feel like they are unstoppable, i know i was like that at that age. how does the saying go... "if i only knew then what i know now"

I think that Judge should clear the way straight to a psychiatrist appointment for himself - man needs to have his head examined.

The judge doesn't care about the fallout of his ruling...he just made a name for himself...now years from now he can say "I was the ruling judge in the landmark case blah, blah ,blah.... It makes me sick the way some of these judges conduct themselfs...sorry Justice!

hate to be the one to say this, but the ruling has nothing to do with the judge's head or his plans to be famous. Similar rules have been declared illegal in baseball, hockey, and basketball, this kind of thing has been clearly proven illegal.

The case is a tragic example of the explotive collaboration between the NFL and college football which, while having its downfalls, does not deserve to have a bunch of kids degrade the sport.

Still, I think kids will hesitate, teams will especially hesitate to draft a kid in the modern win-now philosophy, to go pro early. So in the end I don't think this will be as big of a deal as everyone thinks.

I don't think it is a big deal - just a stupid one. I don't know what collaboration there is when the NFL is actively pursuing a defendant's case against allowing this kid to come to the league.

I would laugh my butt off (and THAT would be a sight) if Clarett didn't get drafted at all...

I understand the league is going to allow MC to enter the draft and then seek to have the ruling reversed. I agree that this probably isn't that big a deal and also agree that teams will shy away from the young players forcing them to remain in college or wait the three years after graduating HS.

I doubt he won't get drafted, if he's still available in the 7th round he'll get snatched up..maybe even to just return kicks
