This is another example of poor play calling. First and goal from the 3, and wind up on the 17?? With the game on the line, with a go ahead touchdown at their finger tips?

Another lousy loss for a a defense that can't stop anyone when it reallyt matters, and bad bad coaching staff that can't get their act together after 3 years.

I'm just logging on now, why do we continue to cover Westbrook with a linebacker?

You got me. And it's not just Westbrook. It's Tiki. It's Julius Jones. It was Tomlinson last year.

That's a bad defensive call every time.

The defense bent over and took it up the rear on that last drive.

And Betts -- who's run for 326 YARDS in two games -- doesn't touch the ball.

Hell, he's not even ON THE FIELD.

Are we finally officially and mathematically out of the playoffs now? I know we will take a lot of heat for being negative today, but I think there are some valid reasons to be negative, no matter how die-ghard you are, and I fit that description. So bring it on, I can take it.

Check out Trent Green's stats for today and compare them with Campbells. Who's the common denominator?

You're right, but should have never came down to that. We should have scored when we were on the 3, Betts ran all over them all day and wasn't in the game on those plays, not to mention all the plays were called to the short side of the field. If you want to throw, wouldn't it have been better to roll Campbell left and if nothing is there he could run?
