for all you Carlos haters -- a INT and a game saving play...

He's young and will be better next year -- mark those words.
As long as we have a push rush...yes. But a cover corner he is not, at least not yet.

I know it's easy to 2nd guess but just imagine how our season would have gone with JC as our QB!

It would not matter if our D played the way it played today

If anyone is still paying attention, Sean Taylor has made a strong case for himself as a Pro Bowler the last few weeks... He was awesome in today's game.

And that's why you kick that FG Baldinger....

Heh, I hope the other guy brings that up but I bet he won't. Smile
Sorry, I'm glad we won, but barely. Did you actually think they would march down the field like that? Rogers made a good play. Period. It was very close to being another heartbreaker. All that said, :httr:

I disagree. MB didn't keep the defense honest, he rarely went down field. He had blocking at times, he didnt have it at times. JC is keeping the defenses back and its aiding the run game.

Taylor has been great the last few weeks.

It's hard to say if he'll get in tho.

Roy Williams is guaranteed a spot in August so there's only so much room for NFC safeties to get in.

I'll take the all around game of Portis over Betts. Plus, the O-Line blowing teams up.

Most importantly, the super millionaire better be what the offense is built around.
No way Portis will ever be the pass receiver Betts is. As a matter of fact, Portis is not the runner Betts has been for the past four games. I have no real explanation of what's happening. I don't believe it's just improved line play. Maybe Campbell being in there is opening up holes to run through. Hard to tell exactly what's what. Whatever, it's time to send Brunell on his way and think of Betts as competing for the no. one spot.
