| Vinny Cerrato told the Post that the team will sign a kicker Friday to replace the injured John Hall, who won't makt the trip to Carolina with the team. The Skins still plan on pursuing Ted Washington or Keith Traylor but will evaluate the defensive lineman performance from the younger guys on Saturday. |

| He's supposed to resume workouts next week, so the new kicker will be only temporary. |

| The Skins signed Matt Simonton. He was with the Rams last year and appeared in one game. He was signed as a one game deal to show off his skills to other teams so they will be interested in him. |
