Bondra Traded!

this is a terrible trade. I can't believe the Caps did this. I should be able to but it's just plain stupid.

Loyalty and intelligence were not factors in this move Jake. It's all about money.

I'm happy for Bondra, although BH may not be so happy that such a great goal scorer in now in the division of his beloved team.

And Olie and Gonchar and Witt will be gone soon and I even heard that Mike Grier was being pursued. I guess Teddy thinks that if we are going to stink we might as well have a payroll that fits the bill. Man, I hate to see all the core guys traded though. I know one thing. If he thinks the franchise is spewing money now, what does he think will happen when no one shows up because no one on the team is any good. At least they aren't letting Halpern go. I couldn't understand the Kono trade either. Oh well, at least we have Coach Gibbs to keep our minds off of hockey.
