Well yeah... what other business do you just use their name without asking for permission? If you don't have an official tie to the site, then you shouldn't be using the site's official name like it was in some official capacity. 
I don't start up 'Microsoft League'... seems pretty common sensical to me.
No malice was intended... sorry it seems to have been taken, but hey, if it makes you feel better to whine about it - fill your boots.
Good luck with the pool HitDoctor. And for the record, whatever you call the pool - if you want to put in the description that it's an 'unofficial fantasy pool for members of theHogs.net' or something like that - we won't have any issue at all. Thanks.
