The team took time from practice today to watch Sean Taylor film and remember him. |

I am known in my office as the big Redskins fan. I wear my jersey nearly every Friday for casual day.
Not that I am due them or even expected them but the ONLY person in an office of about 200 to wish me condolences today was a Cowboy fan. |

WOW. Very classy.
Really makes me feel good that the Cowboy fans of all people would get me tearing up again.
As for the Eagles.... I HATE THEM EVEN MORE.
But for the record I hope Dallas still loses for the rest of the season |

| Bram Weinstein (who choked up while talking about the mood at Redskins Park) said the Cowboys asked for several 21 stickers to wear in some fashion when they play the Packers. That's just a class act. I already respect that organization and many of its fans but my respect for both went way up today. |

not to take anything away from their motives... because i think we should give more credit to this athletes for realizing they are people before they are players... but as just a strange fact, dallas has no one on their roster that graduated from the U. and they don't appear to have any ex-redskins on their team. meaning no one on the entire roster would have ever played WITH sean taylor either in colllege or the pros. |

| NFL teams may have large rosters but the fraternity of NFL players is still a small one. So what if they want to respect one of their one? He's played against the Cowboys on six different occasions, it would have been seven had he played this year. What else would their motive possibly be than to respect a guy they played against and admired? |

i totally agree. i just found it odd that no one had played with sean. to me, it actually emphasizes the point of how opposing players felt about ST when they were never even his teammate. that is the type of respect that he earned from the nfl fraternity... not just those who played with him. |

I was writing almost exactly the same thing. That I am a Redskins fan is not a secret at work and I wasn't owed or seeking condolences but the lone person to do so: a Cowboys fan. |

| you know what is so unbelievable??? i have been reading redskin message boards all day. on here, on extremeskins, on hailredskins. THOROUGHLY covering the message boards are cowboy fans offering their condolences. not to mention how many posts start... "i am a bills fan..., i am a broncos fan... i am a steelers fan" etc... followed by warm wishes and prayers. yet, in all my reading i have not found ONE, "i am an eagles fan" or "i am a giants fan" to start a sympathetic post. has anyone else? |

| Your not finding them is not an indication that those fans are not sympathetic. And this thread is specifically to thank the Cowboys fans for the show of solidarity, let's focus on the goodwill in that gesture. |
