Daniels has always been a weight room monster. that's one of the resons Blache brought him with him from Chicago. he said even if Daniels didn't start, just by having him in the locker room he would motivate guys to work harder in the weight room. Daniels is a definite cornerstone leader of our defense. Kind of like how Ray Brown was for the offensive line.
