I guess it's never too early to look ahead.
| Quote: | 19. Washington Redskins -- Greg Hardy*, DE, Mississippi
Hardy is flying under the radar right now despite notching 10 solo sacks the past two seasons, and the Redskins will be looking for a young pass-rushing threat after failing to land one during the latest draft. |

I think it is too early.
This year's picks haven't even made it to the three day rookie mini-camp yet. |

It is WAY to early to post 2009 mocks. Not knowing where teams will finish this yr, how new players will perform in the NFL, how college players will perform or who will come out early, you could do about as well drawing lots. |

It's purely speculative so how can it be too soon? |

Yes, it is purely speculative. McShay is guessing the draft order, guessing the team needs will be the same by the time the 2009 draft rolls around, guessing the players he listed will continue to perform at or above their current levels of performance. Granted, he is no more likely to be accurate the day of the 2009 draft than he is now, but even so ... |

| It's definitely wrong though. No way in hell we are taking a DE in the first round. Any idiot knows the Skins only take D-linemen in the later rounds. It'll be a CB, QB, WR or S |

And there's no guarantee that Washington will be making Washington's first round selection in 09. . . |

| And our first pick will be the 31st in the draft after we win the Super Bowl. |

| 31st, because we are going to play the Patriots in the Super Bowl and destroy them so badly that the team folds up and leaves the NFL for the CFL. |

31st, the Pats will get caught cheating again and will have to forfeit their 1st round pick.... again. So even though the Skins won the Super Bowl and should be selecting at #32, they will actually be picking at #31.
