According to today's lead article at Redskins.com, here are some of the switches that apparently have taken place:

* Renaldo Wynn has moved inside to DT with Jermaine Haley on passing downs, with Bruce Smith and Regan Upshaw at DE

* Ifeanyi Ohalete moved in front of David Terrell

* Lennie Friedman appears poised to start at C

* Hoping to see if one of the young guys (Holsey, Cannida, Cowsette, Scott) can step in at DT

Any news of a trade?

I dont know if the team isnt really playing at full
capacity or its true what LaVar told the news reporters
that we are not showing anything until the season starts.

I think these are what you are looking for skinsfanno9:

Aug. 27 - Rosters must be reduced to 65 players by 4:00 p.m. Eastern

Sept. 1 - Rosters must be reduced to 53 players by 4:00 p.m. Eastern

Sept. 2 - Teams may assign up to 5 players to practice squad

There are more 'important dates' listed under the schedule on the schedule page. (Link is in the left main nav on the website)

Officially, they're still working on it. Word out of Denver is that we're just about set with Dalton, and it appears that we're more likely to get Kenny Smith out of New Orleans than Grady Jackson.

I'm just concerned that the Redskins will have to give up more for Dalton now than they would have a week ago.

Their position of need got worse with Noble's injury.

Man, that's tight for the Redskins and Jets, who play just two days later.

I suspected this, im sure its a tactic most teams use. SOS learned his lesson from last year.

My bud in Denver said Washington is trying to deal them a conditional pick based on playing time for Dalton. I guess you can speculate that we may wait to see if he gets cut.

yea, but dalton wants to be a starter. he won't in denver. skins should trade for him and re work his deal into some type of extension. he'll want to be here for the chance to start.

Thanks for the dates Mark. Yeah, thats pretty close to the Jets, but hopefully the ones on the "edge" are not going to be key players in that game. I'm excited to have us opening the season.

The deal Dalton is off. Denver is set to trade him to a team that is not requiring a conditional pick and Dalton is having to take a much smaller pay cut than the Skins wanted.
