| NFL network is reporting only the 2012 4th rounder, which I don't understand. Why didn't we at least get something next year? And for being so far off, a 4th rounder is really low compensation. |

A 4th rounder is A 4TH ROUNDER. Good trade. Hope he does well in Oakland. |

Why draft a player that you're going to lockout, waiting until 2012 to get compensation tells us a lot |

| Wish we could have kept him. I don't feel too comfortable with Rex as our backup...JC could come in, if McNabb gets hurt and do well..especially, if we shore up the line...which we've done pretty well. |

I hope we explained there are no takebacks. I guess Al has learned something. Last time he got a QB who sucks from us it cost him Lachey. This time it was just a fourth rounder in two years...

Man, it's a weird situation to like JC and want to root for him... and have him be a Raider. I don't want to root for the Raiders, lol.
Also, I think it's hilarious when coaches, like Tom Cable, say "I haven't promised anyone the starting job, it's a 5 man competition." The Raiders have 4 ridiculously bad QB's just traded a 4th rounder for Campebll and are paying him something like 7+ million over the next two years. Yup, wide open competition alright. |

My point is, that a general rule is that a round next year, is worth one round less this year, so this is like getting a 6th rounder this season. |

My point is, that a general rule is that a round next year, is worth one round less this year, so this is like getting a 6th rounder this season. |
I'd rather have the 4th in 2012. First, a 4th round pick in whatever year is a valuable pick that can net a good player or be traded. Second, if there is a lockout in 2011. The 2012 draft would be the deepest draft in league history. |

I still think there would be a draft, the lockout wouldn't occur until August or September. But if they didn't have a draft in 2011, then we got McNabb for a 2nd rounder only.  |
