That's exactly why I don't. Life is too serious a business to waste it on frivolity and pleasure. |

RF has convinced me, I'm done watching this lousy team -- oh wait, what time is the game Sunday?
It really is like a drug to me...I wish I had the ability to just stop watching them play, but I couldn't do it! I've DVR'ed them so my wife and I could do stuff in the afternoon and 1 hour in I'm calling my brother -- what's the score? How is Moss doing? Landry take anyone's head off? Albert playing?
I do feel sorry for the fans who have NEVER seen us as a dominant team - my son is 22, I turned him onto the SKins when he was young. He now goes to a Skins bar every Sunday in Chicago and like me, can't stay away. He called me 25 times Sunday as he drove back to Chicago and couldn't get reception of the game on his iphone...via my Sunday ticket.
After the game I'm second guessing the coaches and wondering how players can make so many mistakes and keep their jobs for probably 1 hour..then I let it go. When I was young, I let it fester until Monday but don't let that happen anymore. I try to focus on the Terps bball or fball or Wizards or Caps, until the next Sunday!! |

You must be fun at parties. What's the objective here? No one's accomplishing anything! You're just standing around and talking! What is the system of keeping score! Chill dude, chill... |

Come on. Does Dallas really mean that much to you? Give me 14-2, lose to Dallas twice and make the playoffs... A good year to me is a shot at the title. |

Yep, Maeve's
He's the guy with the Landry jersey, he apparently sits at the bar.
If you go there, tell him, dad says hi, and easy on the liquor!

They have a popular franchise QB who's never been in any kind of trouble, they have an excellent coach who also serves as the top personnel man and they are perpetually good. They have a great understanding of how to stay competitive year after year, they are the kind of team everyone should try to be more like.
How are they what's wrong with the NFL? |
They are the poster children for the Socialist, parity driven, mediocrity promoting style of management and play that the NFL is so completely and totally driven by these days. Can you even name 4 players on any of their Championship teams other than Tom Brady? |
I don't like 'em nor do I follow them but how about ... Vrabel, Brewski, Vinaterri, and Law? Sorry about the spelling.
| Quote: | | I doubt it. They're full of has-beens and never-will-be's. 53 guys who you wouldn't recognize if you ran into them on the street. |
and that's bad?
| Quote: | | They play NOT TO LOSE instead of playing to WIN. |
like when they went for it on 4th down against the Colts last year and against someone else this year? Good one!
| Quote: | | That's totally abhorant in my mind. In sports, like War, the idea is to decimate your opponent. To leave him beaten and bloody on the field, completely devoid of desire to continue to resist. That's NOT the style that the Patriots do ANYTHING in. |
Actually that's EXACTLY what they did a few years ago before the Giants gave them their only defeat. Wow. Bad form. Fanatic my @$$

Whoa, there, big boy...
You need to change your location to "off the bandwagon" before you go! |
