MADE ME THROW UP IN MY MOUTH.

Both of them have the Redskins selecting North Carolina DE/OLB Robert Quinn with the #10 pick in the first round.

Isn't this the guy who didn't play a single down of college football last year? Who only played two years in college period?

Then McShay further compounds my disgust by suggesting Washington select Nevada QB Colin Kaepernick with the #41 pick.

I MIGHT JUST HAVE TO CONSIDER JUMPING OUT A WINDOW IF THOSE TWO THINGS WERE TO HAPPEN!!!!!

For interested parties (unlike myself), McShay continues his 7 rounder with these beauties....

#144 Auburn WR Darvin Adams
#155 Texas CB Chykie Brown
#177 Nebraska OG Keith Williams
#213 Virginia Tech DT John Graves
#224 Mississippi State ILB Chris White

Would really suck if we end up having to take Quinn or Watt with the 10 pick.

I've heard Quinn has the potential to be a great pass rusher and with Rak on the other side that would be great. Kiper said if he would have played this year he would have been a top 3 or 5 pick. Kapernick is not a pro QB. If they take him I would be upset.

MD - he's a 4/3 DE and has never played in space. He's only rushed the passer his first two years. Oh and for what it's worth, he was one of the 4 or 5 players who were not allowed to play last year because they cheated, took money, etc. Don't want a guy like that on this team. Especially since I'm a NC State fan.

The first sentence you wrote sounds an awful lot like what people were saying about Orakpo coming out of college and he turned out alright I guess. From what NFL scouts are saying he has the ability to play 3-4 LB. He is also reportedly the player that the Patriots, a 3-4 team, are so high on they want to trade up somewhere between 6 and 10 to get him. The suspension raises a red flag but he was 18 or 19, since he is only 20 now, when he made those mistakes so if Shanny and Allen were impressed by his interviews and they think he has grown up and can play in the 3-4 I don't mind the pick at all. He also battled back from brain surgery in his senior year of high school to play football again when he was told he could never play sports again so that says something about his character too.

That brings a medical red flag to me only b/c of the issues of concussions. Not sure if it's a risk at all or not. But I can tell you that when UNC played NC State, besides the fact that State beat them the last 4 years, their defense didn't do CRAP against us as a whole and their guys were over rated vs a mediocre line.

6'5 270. we need a stout thumper like quinn to hold the edge and get after the passer opposite rak. If that is our option at 10 I wouldnt be mad at all if we took him.

I'm still waiting for an NC State player to play for the Skins. Like Parcells said, "You have to go where they make 'em" when talking about schools that produce NFL talent. He mentioned the obvious teams like USC, Ohio State, etc but said Iowa and NC State are those schools.

Look out for Nate Irving, ILB to be a stud that someone can get in the late 2nd or early 3rd.

Looks like the Browns are doing what we were supposed to do. Allow someone to trade up to get Julio.

The Julio talk is over!

Trade down. I can only hope that minn is willing to trade up so we can get a 4th round pick for 2 spots.
