With a heavy heart, my response is, good riddance.
I'm tired of everyone bitching and moaning about being a redskin. If you're not in, get the F out. We've got Franchise QBs to draft and games to win. I can't wait to finally be on the laughing end of "we'll see who gets the last laugh"
You're a skin or GTFO! |

Carlos Rogers claimed that he knew "so many guys" on this team that wanted out. I'd be willing to bet he's exaggerating on the "so many" part, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he had Landry in mind.
I wish it were otherwise, but if it's true that Landry is holding onto grudges and doesn't care to be here, then I really don't have a problem seeing him go. |

Getting burned by Desean Jackson on Monday Night Football two years ago makes me want to say, "Good Riddance". |

I can't join in with fans saying "good riddance". Landry wasn't always perfect at safety, but he also plays one of those positions where when you make a mistake its usually in the spotlight.
Landry was one of the few highlights the past few years with the way he was willing to hit people. You just know how nervous the other team was when they knew LL was around them on the field.
I won't be happy to see him go, but I hope he gets better and continues his career. DEFINITELY won't be looking forward to playing against him, so I hope his next home isn't Philly or Dallas. |

| Sad to see him go, if he is leaving. Always liked watching him hit and play real football. |

| He reportedly is open to a one year deal, so hopefully he'll opt to do so. |

I hate to see most Redskins go.. howwwwwwweeevveerrr... I'd rather get rid of him now and try to "maybe" draft a young stud safety/free agent/or just use inhouse till we sort it out.
Hogster, I undastand where you're coming from bro but having him on the squad and getting injured puts us in a bigger jam during the season.
Plus (like someone else mentioned) DJ torching him was nuts!! Than add on the other times he got beat by the double move or just flat out burned is even worse(r).
Hope he goes to the AFC, I don't want him in the NFC |

Well now that Otogwe has been released maybe they will make Landry a one year offer...?
His bargaining position is weak financially because of the games he's missed so I guess they would get him back for less than the $3.something that Otogwe was due to get.
I hope so. I don't like people giving him grief for this play or that, you mess up at CB or safety and everyone remembers just that. If you fumble as an RB people tend to forget, if you drop the odd one as a WR you can cover it up unless it's in the last minutes of a game, do you know what I mean...?!?
The guy is a great SS and a leader on defense, and with London still unsigned we may need him more than people think. |

I'd call him a disappointment. We need fewer highlights and more consistency from that position.

| Remember Monte Coleman often injured but in the end of his last few years of his 16 that he played, he played great. Hate to see him go and be that guy for someone else. |
