That could never happen in America. If it did every police officer involved would be fired and the Chief of Police would have to step down in disgrace.
Can you even imagine getting hauled off to jail, getting strip searched and having your house searched all over a child's picture? I mean... do they have no laws in Canada? |

Stuff like that DOES happen here... and, sometimes with clear malice...
Doesn't make it any less outrageous... It's just what happens when the government considers it's citizens subordinate to it'self...
I don't know if there is a course for redress in Canada... but there is here. |

Of course we can notice them... they are all wearing green tuques, with red maple leaf appliques.
and, they're all polite, and crap...
They stick out like... Canadians... eh?
I'm not worried... apparently, none of them are armed...  though I wouldn't mess with Rob Furlong. A fine shot, and a Canadian hero who ran afoul of bureacrats (rules require filtering the acronym I'd prefer, but military types would recognize that it starts with "Rear Echelon yada, yada").

Wow, this is just insane.
And absolutely this could happen in this country at any moment, escpecially in light of the fact that anyone can be stripped searched for any arrestable offense prior to being placed into gen. population, now.
So insane but very possible. |
