Campbell adds the caveat that it was only practice, but Moss is starting to look like not only a good bet to make the final roster but to start over Leonard Hankerson and Josh Morgan opposite Pierre Garcon. I bet you he told himself to come out on fire for the offseason workouts as soon as we signed so many receivers. Good for him!

Agreed. I think that Santana could see that there was a good chance of him not being on this team this year. Who stays ... Who goes? He stays.

Didn't he play a bunch in the slot last year? Leave him there! Mismatch! He's as good as Welker if Brady, umm, RGIII is throwing to him.

I wouldn't mind seeing a bigger guy like Morgan play slot and lay hate on the bootleg.

Let him and Morgan switch it up at slot.. they both provide problems for coverage in different ways.. same w hanktime and garçon. Hopefully they all feed off each others attributes.

I think banks is a lock.. cheap return specialist, and able to use in many different sets on O.
He commands respect when on the feild, we can't afford to cut that type of talent.

It's amazing what a bit of competition can bring out of a 'safe' player isn't it...

That's why the return of Jenkins should see us get more out of Bowen, Carricker and even Cofield. The form of Helu and Royster at the end of last season will get the best out of Hightower this time around. The signing of Goff and Robinson will keep Fletcher and Riley on their toes. Wilson and Hall have an army of CBs to hold off. A fit Cooley will force the best out of Davis. The three rookies plus the form from Smith, Polymbus etc. will have the OL looking over their shoulder. The battle for the safety positions will be one to watch. And Gano will have to sort himself out to keep his place now Rackers is here. Hell, even RG3 has some decent competition from Cousins!

Doesn't seeing all this happen make you realise just how threadbare we were last season?!?

I think 5-11 was disappointing obviously but to be as competitive as we were in almost all of those games was an achievement with the injuries we had, the rookies that stepped up and a couple of imposters at QB.

We're much stronger. Question is, how much have the other 3 in the division improved, if at all....???

Hank as #4 in some 4-wide sets? I feel like we have a bunch of #2 WRs and that that's a good thing.

Who's next in line for a 5-wide set?

Banks.
Has to be. Setsup wild cat, the reverse, screens, and more importantly the deep ball.
Although his hands are small, he CAN catch. If the other three can draw the safties, or rgiii can freeze one w a pump fake, little BB is gone and rgiii has the canon to hit him deep.

At least on Madden it works. I killed it with Hanktime miner one moss in the slot triple A and BB as the fourth. Drew some crossing routes up that BB would always get open on too.
Of course I won three straight super bowls w Becksy but don't mind that part lmao

I simply can't understand the enthusiasm for Morgan. His stats are mediocre at best and he's injury prone. There's a reason we got him so cheap. He might be the second coming; but chances are he'll be on the bench much of the season, injured or not. He's just not that good.

I would guess this is the reason he is here at a bargain, if he plays up to par.

“I’m very, very close [to 100 percent],” Morgan said after the Redskins‘ second day of mandatory minicamp. “I just got to get my explosion back. The pain is gone. Everything else is healed.”

Quote:
He has to get on the field first, though. Morgan was limited in all of the spring practices. Not only does he lack explosion, he said he has lost five inches off his vertical jump.
