As Schefter said, this isn’t exactly breaking news as the Colts have been widely expected to draft Luck since sometime in November. But this should calm the nerves of some Redskins fans who have been terrified that the Colts would cross up the Redskins and draft Robert Griffin III, forcing Washington to “settle” for Luck.
Update: Bob Kravitz of the Indianapolis Star independently confirmed Schefter's report.

I'll believe it when the Redskins make the draft pick. Until then, I'll be hapy with either Luck or RGIII.
(And will hope that neither is like Jack Scarbath, University of Maryland Heisman runner-up, picked at number 2 or 3 by the Rddskins in the early '50s. Never heard of Scarbath?) |
