True. Donte Stallworth killed a guy. Michael Floyd is expected to get drafted Top 15 too. It's an awful lapse in judgment, but let's not hang the guy.

I hope they give him a chance to show his 'stuff'
he will continue to make stupid decisions on and off the field


my first prediction = I hognosticate that Meriweather is not on the roster September 9th

This goes back to character. HEck, shortly after Gaffney made the tirade on twitter (though he claimed the hacking get out of jail free card) it was announced that the Redskins would allow him to shop his skills elsewhere.

Meriweather is a bit different....but at the end of the day I would say that this would be taken into serious consideration by the FO on keeping him or cutting him. Stallworth had his indicent behind him...not after the team had hired him (and trust me I was not thrilled with our acquisition of Stallworth at all).

No....If this proves out to be true.....then I see a very difficult path for him to be in the burgundy and gold in September.....
