My grandfather was taken from me by a drunk driver when I was 6 years old. The 70+ year old man killed my grandfather, and the lady behind him and pretty much got off scott free. I have no sympathy for drunk drivers. I did not like Stallworth for that reason. Cut him loose!! Drunk driving is one of the stupidest and most selfish things somebody can do. The penalty for it needs to be much stiffer than it is. If you lock them up for a year for it, maybe more people will think twice about it.

it's like having a loaded gun in your hand... WHILE being drunk. it's beyond inexcusable.

It's been over a year since he got accused of that.

He was cleared of being the one that fired those shots..

Let it go... Confused

I totally understand and respect the reaction to this. On the flip side, A LOT of ordinary, otherwise good and intelligent people get busted for DUI as incredibly stupid as it is.

I'll be ok with seeing him lose his drivers license like most people. I don't need to see him lose his job.

Still boggles my mind when this stuff happens with millionaire athletes though. PAY FOR A CAB YOU FREAKING IDIOTS!!!

Maybe the team should hire driver/babysitters for the party animals.

That's actually a good idea, not the babysitter part, but hire a service that will pick up players at any time of day or night and drive them home. There could even be a second driver to follow in the player's car.

Seriously! If you're a billionaire team owner with millions of dollars wrapped up in these guys, wouldn't you hook something like that up?

Call this number anytime, anywhere that you have been out drinking and we'll send a car service to pick you up. We'll deduct the $150 from your next $3m paycheck.

Shoot, it'd be worth it to the team just to pay for the whole thing.
