According to stats:

4 babies are born every second and 2 death every second in the World.
Thats +2 souls every second of every hour or every day.

Thats becomes 1 million people every 6 days..... which is what: 1 billion more people very, very soon..... YIKES

What's "yikes" about it? The world could have 10 times as many humans in it and that would be a good thing. People are a blessing, not a curse.

Well, if the world can't support that many people then, no, it's not a blessing. A lot of those people will die horrible deaths because they can't get the resources to survive.

Perhaps, but people tend to greatly underestimate how many people the world can support. The Earth has been deemed "overpopulated" since the 18th century, and if you explained to them that we'd be feeding 7 billion people on as much farmland as we do, they'd have thought you were crazy.

True, but the truth is, we aren't feeding 7 billion people right now. But that's mostly because of political instability.

There's no doubt it could happen.

Fresh drinking water will be what people are fighting for in 10 years.

Too many mouths to feed leads to growth hormone in foods and disease as a result. Over population is not a blessing, it's a curse of the irresponsible.

People are a pain in the arse - exterminate 40% of the population now.

I have a list of names to start things rolling.

I'm only 90% joking.

Over-population will BECOME a problem when cities like mine (The largest in the Nation) can attract members of the population to want to come and live there... for a extended period of time

Everyone (8M+ do) wants to live in New York City (468.9 square miles) compared to here with 874.3 square miles and a population of under 1.5M,

Future generation should figure out better ways to use the resources available considering we scare the crap out of them about how they are doomed because of how we have used them.

I checked the link and then fell into a whirlwind of links. Apparently Manilla is the most densely populated city in the world.
