The more I read about Morris, the more I like. Looks like another Shanahan late round gem. Quick cuts, power running, able to break tackles and/or carry guys on his back.
I also like the fact that he can line up as either a tailback or fullback and he takes pride in his blocking abilities. Twisted Evil

I think the thing I like best about this draft (aside from the RGIII pick) is that we didn't grab any WRs.

They're just live practice targets for the QB's. RGIII is gonna put a lot of work in, no need to run Garcon and co. to death b4 the season.

Anyone else excited over the Kirk Cousins pick? This all but seals the fate of Grossman being off of this team come 2013.

1. how do u define a late round gem? a body that is on the roster? a special teams player? a guy who gets on the field a couple times a game? a starter? or a guy like victor Cruz in ny who wasn't even drafted, rewrites the giants record book and goes to the pro bowl....that kind of gem?

2. are u going to include shanahans time from years ago in Denver when other people were involved who are not associated with Washington or are the late round gems u soeakof from his time in washing ton?

3. who are they , cuz, I see absolutely nothing. not a single person. not a single "gem". of course my definition is problem different than yours, I probably don't set the bar as low as redskin fans do.

Don't forget a troll that's really not a skins fan on top of that. Got to be either a giants or cowboys troll. The troll in that pic has little balls....haaaa. too funny.

Crawford's contract has an estimated value of $2.164 million with a signing bonus of around $64,000, while Bernstine's contract is estimated to be worth $2.161 million with a signing bonus of just under $62,000.

Let's not forget, we got Minnifield undrafted. Could be a major pickup.

Why so high?

I mean they're 7th round picks for pete's sake.

Keep in mind, they are 4 year contracts...

After looking at the numbers, It might be even higher the rookie minimum over four years would be about $2.110M without the signing bonus under last years minimum pay scale. The rookie minimum over 4 years in 2012 would be at least $2.170M before any bonuses.

If these numbers hold up it's hell of a deal by the front office
