I very much disagree. While I think our FO is capable of making the best of a bad situation, losing $36 million over two years is a very bad thing for a team that lacks talent. Already we made a couple of bets on WRs and on our current OLs because we couldn't afford to bring in better talent. If those bets pay off, then good for us, but if not then our cap situation is partly to blame.
At best we'll have gotten kind of lucky.
Well I did say may be a blessing in disguise. If our draft picks and free agent signings dont pan out? Then surely it has alot to do with losing 36 million in cap space.
That is the positive spin I am putting on losing 36 million in cap space. Its not too far from the realm of reality to think our team will overcome this major setback. Especially since we have our franchise QB.

Sean Taylor starting free safety Heavens team!

It's not necessary to point it out every time the wind blows.
I was just reveling in the futility of their exsistance.
Am I not allowed that privilege on here now....????

pot meet kettle

Nobody really expects the Redskins to do well - 8 wins is considered a winning season for Dan Snyder's Redskins
Redskins should fire Bruce Allen & try a different way of managing this franchise
Thankfully, Kirk Cousins is no longer the QB

Is that your opinion, or is that straight from the FO?

I wouldn't ever want that thankless task. But it does seem to be one of your goals, since you project that desire onto others so often. Good luck with that.

Hopefully this mess sorts itself out. Either way, I'm looking forward to better football from this team from here on out

I'm looking forward too - from the post by 1niksder it looks grim ...
it seems to me that all we can do now is hope that the guys in charge continue to pull us out of the hole we were in
we do have some people that we can build around and we'll most likely have to move some players that we might not have had to if the ass in NY had not pushed the NFL into punishing us
that situation is not going away soon either
