Hey everyone. Name’s ACW (my intitials). Got permabanned from ES so joined this ‘Skins site. Skins fan (and all the other local pro teams; easily switched from O’s to Nats) since birth (born in Alexandria Hospital, lived in DC for a year, lived in Fairfax Co. until college locally, now live in Ballston in Arlington. DMV born, DMV bred, when I die I’ll be DMV bred). Proud alum of George Mason University (BS in Accounting in 2006-yes, the year we made the Final Four; I went to all the games, and it was awesome-MS in Accounting in 2008). Favorite current ‘Skin is ‘Rak; RGIII will probably be up there soon enough.
Now, a few questions about proper forum for certain threads:
For a fantasy league (not the dynasty one)-GM forum? Ditto for general fantasy discussion?
And would Weekly non-‘Skins GameDay threads go in Around the League, along with the Weekly Pick’em (via ESPN)?

Welcome to the site. Yes, all fantasy discussions go in GM. Anything football, but non-Redskins in ATL. We have our own pick-em here called Hognostications, and the players regularly outscore all the so-called experts. Anything non-football, goes in the Lounge. And anything that contains adult content or bad language goes in Smack. You won't get banned here. This is a place for the free discussion of ideas, and even if yours don't jibe with the group we appreciate all input. There is, however, currently a troll that goes by the name "the Poster." Her only agenda is to get a response from the rest of us, so please don't feed her by acknowledging her presence in any way. She is starving and on her last legs, so it shouldn't be much longer.
PS Don't take the lack of timely response as an indication of the site's popularity. For some reason, today has been the slowest day here at THN that I can remember, even for the off-season. |

Welcome aboard! 
JSPB gave good answers, and I just want to add one thing to it: the GM Forum is also where we discuss players/coaches/draft picks/etc that the Redskins could acquire, or that you want the Redskins to acquire. For example, if you thought we'd be much better with Vincent Jackson, you could start a thread there to talk about it.
That rule goes for all acquisitions/trades that are not being reported in the news. Anything that is being reported on ESPN or by Schefter deserves a thread in Hogwash.
The reason for the rule is that once upon a time Hogwash got super clogged with everyone's personal ideas of what would be a good move for the Redskins. Nothing wrong with having those conversations, but we try to keep Hogwash for analysis of what's actually going on with the team. |

(1) No pornography (i.e., nothing hard core; swimsuit pics and the like are OK).
(2) No (actual, credible) threats of violence. |

I know you. Didn't know you got shown the door at ES, but glad you made your way over here. I'm one of the exceptions to the rule that posters need choose one site over the other, I think; far as I'm concerned they're all great, and unique in their own ways.
