|
|
| Quote: | “I offered that they could come to Waco,” Griffin told Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. “We got workout facilities and everything. Shockingly, I convinced them to come to Waco, Texas, because not everybody wants to do that. I think next year we’ll do it somewhere more flashy, more vacation-like. Miami or Los Angeles, because I won’t have an apartment in Waco to move out of. But those guys made the sacrifice to come down and see me. So, it’s great that we’re already starting off on the right foot.”
Griffin said receivers Santana Moss, Pierre Garcon, Anthony Armstrong, Aldrick Robinson and Brandon Banks, as well as tight end Fred Davis, are among those who have committed to attending. |

No man, the ONE AND ONLY name I searched for was Cooley's. He more than anybody else needed this kind of time. If something happens to Davis (knock on wood) Cooley would have to take the 1 TE spot.

Dang, I overlooked that.. This would have been good for Cooley to work get some chemistry with RGiii. Now that you brought to my attention that truly sucks... The way it reads tho, more may sign on #hopefully
SLR
I live in New Mexico, border state to the west of Texas... And it sure as heck ain't 40* at night. I'd say the lows are mid 60s. I know Texas is more humid so at night it might feel even hotter then it is. Here w the dryer heat I can't even try to sleep without the A/C on all nght. |

MID-60s AT NIGHT!!!!!

Seriously, if the weatherman over here ever said on TV "...and tonight the over-night temperature will be 65 degrees" we'd be waking the kids up and driving to the beach!!!
"WAKE UP!!! YOU MAY NEVER SEE WEATHER LIKE THIS AGAIN!!! COME ON, BRING YOUR BUCKET AND SPADE!!!!!"

It is not much better in DC ...
"WASHINGTON - The Washington area has broken a record high temperature set almost 80 years ago.
The National Weather Service says that just before 3 p.m. [6/29/12] , it was 104 degrees at Reagan National Airport just outside the city. That beats the record of 101 set in 1934. " |

This is what the elite QB/WR tandems do. It's going to take a year or two.
Before anyone jumps off a cliff, both Hankerson and Josh were held out of all practices up to this point. It's not a shock that they didn't go to this passing camp.
I'd much rather them show up for the official camp where their injuries can be properly evaluated. They can be given advice on how hard to practice and have the reins pulled if they're going too far. |

I'm with CLL on this - dont panic because a few players with injuries dont turn up on an unofficial practice especially in the heat which would do a lot of damage to their rehab.
SLR at the time we buried my dad it was 117 degrees in the shade (the hottest day in history where he lived) at 2 pm
They regularly have days over 100 and nights where the low temp is 75+ (about 20 days a year) It does not feel as bad because the heat is dry not humid but you dont play sport af any kind in that weather |
