So, HEROHAMO's post in the best avatar thread gave me a great idea. We're going to use NC43Hog's avatar wall, and have a playoffs to decide the best avatar here at THN. We're going to take the large ones seven at a time and vote for the best among them. Then we will choose one wild-card from the small ones to compete with the big boys. Each flight vote will last one week. Voting ends Saturday at 11:59 PM ET. After all the flights of the first round are complete, we are going to go head to head, until there are three entries left. The last three will square off in a final vote, and we will have our champion.
So, without further ado, I give you the choices in flight #1:
      
Please announce your vote by posting in the thread, or I'm not going to count it. That way I can tell when the vote was cast, and we can prevent ballot box stuffing. (You know who you are  ) |

This is a really tough call for me. I've narrowed it down to three.
crazyhorse1: Classic, proud, Indian Warrior and Larry Brown. Great avatar!
Fios: Gotta love Master Shake. He's got Portis and Monk in the back. But... the straw is definitely swinging Portis, not Art. 
goskins: Vince Lombardi hovering over Sonny. Nuff said!
But, which one of these?

An alternative way would have been to vote
1st, 2nd and 3rd among ALL avatars, not only the onces "pre-selected" here.
1st = 9 points
2nd = 6 points
3rd = 3 points
You add them all with a deadline and boom! You have your three top avatars elected in a democratic way.  |
