Here's who I'd start as my base offense:

Williams, Hurt, Montgomery, Chester, Polumbus

Garçon, Moss, Hankerson

Davis

Helu

Griffin

This is a very fast team. Morgan would be my next guy in 4-WR sets. Drop Hank for Paul to get 2 TEs (or Cooley for a fullback). Drop Moss for Cooley for 3 TEs.

Niles Paul could be an incred sleeper if he gets a chance.

That was a magic 8-ball you gave me. It just disappeared.

Helu isn't starting because he can't pass-pro as good as Royster...

His superior running ain't worth getting RGIII knocked cold.

It is arguable that Helu was the better runner for the REDSKINS last year. Penn State has zero relevance to his performance last year. Maybe Penn State should have taught him how to pass block.

I'm confused.. Helu isn't starting because Royster is the better pass blocker OR Penn st shoulda taught him how to pass block?

5.9 yards per carry with the REDSKINS.
I like both, don't hate cus I foresaw in my crystal ball Evan surpassing Helu at some point.. just happened to be sooner rather then later.

Every coaching regime seems to do something every year. They keep a guy who seems to have done almost nothing and they release a guy who's done everything.

Coaches are human too. They make emotional decisions too. Shanny is not Spock Monkey (who is half human and also actually made the ocassional emotional decision).

I believe Shanny has a "love affair" with at least one player who will make the team unless he is egregiously bad. There is probably another who has almost no chance no matter how well he performs (though I think that is less likely). Most guys like that are gone anyway. My evidence is what I've seen in this town since George Allen took over. It happens.

What "bubble" player can do almost no wrong in Shanny's eyes? Which cut will leave us shaking our collective head?

My 2 cents
