I still can't get this nasty taste out of my mouth after watching Grossman out there tonight. What a freaking disaster.

Your criticisms focus on his size - out muscling and out jumping? C'mon. No coach is expecting him to do that.

You're right, they may not expect that from Banks, but coaches DO expect that from receivers in general.

If you keep a receiver like Banks, you run routes to his strengths - bubble screens and and deep posts.

Thank you for making my point. If a WR is so small that he can only offer 2 routes such as a bubble screen or a deep post, then said WR doesn't have the very basic versatility of a WR to take up a roster spot.

We are in agreement here. What Banks can do as a WR has to be coupled with what he can do as a return man VS What the other wideouts, battling for the 5th and 6th spots, can do coupled with what they can do as return men.

We are in agreement that Banks has not looked good as a wideout - But I have noticed that you have chosen to critigue things that are given. Don't know if you are listening to the telecast - joey T is talking about the things that I have written about.

Yeah, I think we're overall in agreement.

And no, I haven't heard Joey T. on the telecast. I've been watching the game intermittently on my computer. And yes, I was only addressing BB's obvious size issues which I know are a given. I didn't want to also bring up his poor route running and other issues because I was trying not to pile on the guy. Lol...

I get you on the size issues, but if they were issues, Shanny wouldn't be giving him a chance. That is why I don't mention those. We do agree overall that BB didn't look good tonight.

Now, I have to admit that Robinson has looked very good tonight. If he can return punts, he is on the team for sure.
