I know it's preseason, but I hate seeing Cousins awesome game ruined with less than 2 minutes left.

I'm reading through the thread about an hour after the end of the game, followed off and on with my phone. Cousins got your 3 TDs and we still lost.

Orakpo has a strained left shoulder (same one he had surgery on in Jan.). OMG says it's just a scare tissue issue, although he plays too many positions to count team doctor isn't one of them.

Meriweather has a strained left knee.... that's all I got Surprised

Also Gnomes is in a walking boot

With the drafting of Bob and the initial learning curve he'll require, The Little One will probably give Shans a free pass this year, but will make his seventh coaching change next year if the ultimate goal of 8-8 is not achieved. Papa is safe this year, but becasue blood is thicker than water, look for the egos of these two sub six footers to clash big time at some point if Jr. Shan's offense doesn't produce.

I think Shanahan has very little to worry about as far as job security. Tom Coughlin has been "about to get fired" every year since 2003. I wouldn't be surprised to see Shanahan get another contract. It takes time. And, I think Snyder gets that now. Let the system grow and good things will come.

Mike and Bruce must be in dire straits - absolutely convinced they'll be out-a-here by seasons end with the way things are going right now Laughing

AND

now we have the Colts with Andrew Luck coming to town

another loss and we'll hear that Cowher could be taking over ..... and soon Shocked

this franchise is no longer the "pre-season winners" - we are getting ready for 16 games that count
