RGIII has been so incredibly credible that our backup QB isn't getting the love he probably would elsewhere (where he could likely be a starter, based on what HE showed in preseason) I am not a huge fan of the Wildcat, but i've been thinking that it might be cool to see Shannaclan throw the look out there. NOT as a staple in the offense, but as a look that makes opponents have to gameplan around the possibility of a second, excellent young QB. The gadget play with Banks is probably what put the idea in my noggin. Just a touch of gametime exposure, if planned and executed nicely, would probably improve his future trade value and game experience is always valuable from the learning perspective. What do you folks think? Should we work the Captain into the continuum, or am I warped?

On another note, it sure is nice to see Davis starting to be a bigger part of the mix Cool

Are you talking about using Kirk in the wildcat? If so I don't think that would work too well cuz I don't think he is really known for his speed is he? If so please correct me.....However it would be cool if one of our receivers has a hidden talent of throwing the ball and RG3 ends up catching an 80 yard bomb by using his 4.3 speed to get behind the D. Yeah I'm just dreaming but it would be pretty sweet Drool

Also as far as Freddy goes I was pretty pumped to see him as part of the game plan especially on that last drive when he had all that green grass in front of him I was screaming at my laptop "Run you d@mn stoner RUN!!!!!!"

I think we have enough to do to get RGIII into the system. I would vote no.

I would say no. There is no way we should put the best player on our team on the bench at any point.

I would say no as well...we r not the jets, and rgiii is not sanchez. The only way I see cousins on the field is if.....god forbid......rgiii goes down, or if we ever are up enough in the fourth qtr where we send in the backups.

The team is going to try to get Cousins some quality reps when they can... to increase interest in him... he deserves a chance to start... and it won't be here unless there is a disaster...

I would be happy to never see Cousins on the field this year unless its in mop up duty of a 4th quarter 56-0 game against the Cowboys.

No. We need to keep RGIII is rythm and on the field.

I agree that Cousins should get time only in mop up duty.

He'll play himself out of the starting by Thanksgiving, and he ain't even starting yet. But that's only because Sanchez hasn't got the boot yet. Cousins could go in there and be starting before the 2012 season, a year under under MS and along side RGIII, a new coach won't have any loyalty to Tebow or Sanchez. The new coach might ship both of them out.
