Thought that most of the "team needs" were pretty solid, but I disagree with some of the players and ordering.
IMHO:
- no way Barkley goes at 22
- GB is way too smart to draft a RB in the first round
- It felt like 1/3rd of the first round selections were either DE or WR
- We aren't going to see 5-7 WRs taken in the first round. GMs have started to learn that you get the most value at these positions in rounds 3-7.
- Historically the players taken in the first round are LBs, DL, OL, DB (and of course QB) -- you have a ton of DEs, but not many of the others (outsdie of QB). GMs typically see the most value in those positoins.
All in all not a bad review. I really think you hit team needs perfectly, just don't agree with all the WR picks --- espcially Houston; they know better. |
