Some of the NFL’s throwback uniforms are so ugly that they could be seizure inducing. This Sunday when the Washington Redskins update their 1937 look against the Carolina Panthers, they will actually do it with a little bit of subtle class.

“Team, Effort, Tradition” won’t be visible, but is inside the back of the neck of the jersey.

The helments will be painted brown to look like leather.

The jersey is made by Nike but doesn't have those horrible collars

Like? Dislike?

I don't really care for the pants. A little too shiny, more like the modern day metallic pants some teams wear. But it could just be the pictures. Maybe I'll like them more when I see them in action.

More GOLD than yellow maybe?

I'm waiting to see how brown the helmets will be.

I like them. I don't care at all for the current "yellow" pants.

If they could only play defense to the same degree of attention and effort that our marketing department spends thinking about this thing.

The best uniform is a WINNING uniform whatever the color. If they win, I will be happy. If they lay another egg with a terrible effort, I will curse the hell out of them with their retro uniforms and all.

Maybe I care too much about the substance of the team and the form remains somewhat very secondary. Secondary??? Shocked Subliminal words here!

Does anyone else think the numbers are small? Like them though. I think the logos on the side are pretty sick.
