it almost looks like he might be trying to jump over him on purpose to avoid hitting a sliding QB and getting a penalty, and/or getting his own legs cut out from underneath him.

He wasn't sliding; #95 was tackling him.

This will tick some people off, but D Hall had a great game today.

I think the improved safety play helped.

Maybe more importantly, we were able to get pressure.

Drop the "maybe," you're absolutely right.

I loved the enthusiasm we had on Defense. Even if we are lacking in talent they played with heart that was missing most of the year. Then again playing Dallas on Turkey day will be a better measuring stick. :httr:

Merriweather was a BEAST out there. INT and tough, hard hits....HAIL YEAH

Yep.
Merriweather was key. I haven't heard the scoop yet on him. I hope he can make the Dallas game. IMO I think he had our defense fired up. He tackled well. He hit hard. He doesn't look very big but he was getting the job done.

I have to agree. I was pulling for him to get his pick 6. He was around the ball often.

Get real. He was avoiding an illegal hit.

I was at the game and when he got off the examining table near the bench, they gave him his helmet back which is an indication that he could have played; however, there was no reason for him to get back in there with the game pretty much out of reach at that point. I suspect that he will be good to go next week.

He hurt his right knee in the second half, an injury which looked somewhat serious on the field and Meriweather did not return during the game. According to Meriweather, that was just because of the 31-6 score

I think that having Merriweather back there for a while was a huge confidence boost for the db's... and it carried over after he was hurt.

Tana Moss didn't have many plays but he made the MOST of what he got.
It was interesting that at the press con, Tana admits that plays don't come his way as often as they used to.

He FOUGHT a double team, got great position on the ball, secured it and stretched for the End Zone........ you gotta love his game.

I've always been a big fan of Moss.
