Question?

Why can't we win the division if we win today and cowboys and giants lose?

Sons of Washington!
My Brothers!
I see in your eyes the fear that would take the heart of me!
A day may come when the courage of the Redskins fails, when we forsake our teammates and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of Eagles and shattered helmets when the Age of the Redskins comes crashing down, but it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good earth, I bid you stand, Sons of Washington!!!!!

Let's assume that happens:
We'd be 9-6 (3-2).
They'd be 8-7 (3-2).

Now, if they beat us next week, we'd both be 9-7, and be 1-1 head-to-head, but they'd have the next tiebreaker (4-2 vs. 3-3).

You're wrong. If the Redskins win today they will be 4-1 in the division.
They beat the Giants, Eagles, and Cowboys. Lost to the Giants.

What's the next tiebreaker after division record?

Embarassed You're right. It's common games. Now, if they lose this week and beat us next week, we both beat the Eagles twice, split with each other and the Giants, so:
WAS DAL
BAL W L
CIN L W
CLE W W
PIT L W
ATL L L
CAR L W
NO W L
TB W W

They'd be 5-3; we'd be 4-4.

So either way you look at it the Redskins need to win both games.

How does the wild card look?

We can clinch if we win, HOU beats MIN, BAL beats NYG, and ARI beats CHI.

The first two are good possibilities. What about Ari beating Chi? I haven't really heard much about the bears or cardinals this year.

Who the hell knows with those 2? I picked CHI, but flip a coin. Just hoping for a big game from Marshall.

Been a while since the game right before Christmas meant anything for us Skins fans. I am pumped! I hope we do not stub our toe today, Philthy is still a dangerous team and can beat us if we do not play well.

Go Skins! Go New Orleans and Baltimore! Arizona and Houston!
