I think CB, Safety, DL before OL. The Redskins DB's seemed atrocious...slow and often out of position.
"Must" pick? Kwame Geathers, nephew of Jumpy Geathers.
In general, though, I think Yoda's observation is on the mark. |

Will Montgomery has proven himself a pretty darned good Center... I don't think Center is on the radar... |

Plus hasn't Lebrius been practicing on and off as a backup center as well? |

They cross-train their offensive linemen as a means of redundancy. |

I think these guys realize this is an offense that they fit in. They're undersized and aren't gonna get a huge pay day from most teams. The ONLY exeception is Trent. Although, Chester could prolly go elsewhere and get a little money. I don't think we'll have an issue resigning Kory. |

So what's the general consensus on Compton? Is it being said that he is a high quality starter?
LeBrius looked good in the Dallas game. I have high hopes for this kid. |

I don't think there is an ACCURATE PUBLIC CONSENSUS. None of us really know. You can't go by draft reports because Mike selects linemen that fit his scheme. These guys would grade low for 80% of the league. Going into the season the entire world thought that this line was garbage and they played really well. If you can get a competent QB that doesn't pat the ball all day, it's gonna aid the line. RGIII had a lot to do with how well they played but it's not unique to our team. Do you think Indy's all-world line got worse after Peyton got injured? No... They were the same guys, but they had hot-garbage under center.
This team will benefit from playing the people they've drafted. If they've choosen well... Last year proved that they've made some good choices. There are sure to be a dud here or there but I feel good about their selections. We're strapped for cash, let's continue to grow our existing talent. Let's get those 2nd year players rolling and whomever we draft this year and start the same process. |

I'm a Md Alum, watch all the Terps games. Have seen Kenny Tate his whole time at MD.
Came in as a highly recruited WR. Fridge converted him to Safety, he became a huge hitter, great safety for MD. Edsall asked him to gain weight and converted him to LB - Will LB I think.
He'd be a super 7th round pick. If we think he won't get drafted, a great local Free Agent. I'd ask him to drop weight and be a Strong Safety. |

Why keep making him switch positions? Does that mean he's not really good at any of them? |

Since our secondary had issues this past season. I am starting to lean towards safety. I think adding a quality saftey would help both corners. So I think we should draft either one of these two.
Matt Elam or TJ Mcdonald. Both players may be available in the 2nd round. Matt Elam may go in the first if so TJ Mcdonald I believe is an underrated safety who can play.
