| I talked to linebacker Chris Clemons after the game and he said he thinks the team will let him play this year. One more note.... Pita Elisara was there at the game on the field....headphones and all during pregame warmups... with his Joe Montana Chiefs throwback jersey walking in and out of the stadium, so despite reports, he was NOT released. Boss, if you're reading this, can you delete that transaction? Thanks. |

| I know. That's why I asked him to see if he will play this year because he was on IR for just a shoulder sprain and he said he the coaches might consider taking him off later in the year. |

| the team would have to waive someone to activate clemons if that be the case. |

They can't. The REDSKINS would have to waive Clemons in order for him to play this year. Once a team puts you on the IR, you are done for the year unless the team releases you. (a la Kato Serwanga)
If it wasn't this way... everyone would just stick players on IR to protect them.
If the team had any intention of playing CC, they'd have put him on the PUP list rather than the IR.
Now brother Nic Clemons (being on the PS) may get some eime, but that's the closest a Clemons brother will get to the field in a Skins uni this year. |

Like I told you at camp, Boss, letting Serwanga go without a verbal agreement to come back was a HUGE mistake. I think they will release him sometime in the year because he would be the one of the easiest target to waive. |

| jake, verbal agreements don't count, the player has no say in where he goes. once released, a player must clear waivers, meaning, any of the other 31 teams would have the right to claim him, which unless other teams are hurting at the LB position, he'd probably clear waivers, giving the skins the right to sign him. |
