Upon analysis, I don't think we can really fault Spurrier's play-calling once they were up 20-3. He actually ran it 8 times and attempted 7 passes--only 2 of which were completed. If they had been made, it would have been (and seemed like) a totally different ending. I don't think he really went into a shell--it was just that the only effective plays we did have were on the ground.
I for one am joining Boss and others in basking in our 3-1 standing ATOP THE NFC EAST. And I'm DEFINITELY looking forward to the game against the Eagles--I want to see us start clicking on all cylindars and bury 'em. |

Yeah we won but since I must break it down for the one the only BH
We need the offense to help the Defense

Everytime we can say this you really can pretty much forget about all else that happened on the field.
Yeah the penalties suck, yeah we need to improve still before the next 2 tough tough games.....however:
I'd rather jump offsides 1000 times and win instead of be Ladanian Tomlinson and rush for 180+ score my azz off and lose. |

| You have a point. We will get better. We have to get better. I read that Spurrier plans games in increments of 4. the goal of the team is not lose more than one. We will do fine but we need to seal our wins. We want be lucky every Sunday!!!! |

Thanks for that, I appreciate it. I was struggling to understand how things worked.
So let me understand you... the first part of your post states that our defense is struggling. The second part says that our offense needs to help our defense.
Anything else I need to understand? Any other good advice for me? After all, you have gone out of your way to back your wonderful retorts with such solid football insight and perspective. We suck, we're lucky, and...
