|
|
per Dallas Cowboy Official Weekly 10/04/03
| Quote: | all this based on opening day rosters:
Redskins - 26.7 (with 4.8 years NFL experience - 7 rookies, 7 players age 30 or over)
Giants - 26.3 (with 4.3 years NFL experience - 11 rookies, with 11 players 30 or over)
Eagles - 26.3 (with 4.0 years NFL experience - 14 rookies, 7 players age 30 or over)
Cowpukes - 25.8 (with 3.7 years NFL experience - 13 rookies, 6 players age 30 or over)
Dallas was the division's hefiest team, averaging 245 pounds. They had eight avging 315.2 pounds per man, fifth in the league. Currently they have 10, eight are o-lineman, two d-tackles. |
This suprised me that the Skins are the oldest and most experienced (by average) team in the division. |

Ok this makes me feel really old!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I am quite suprised by this as well. Our quarterback is only a second year guy. I didn't think we had that many older players on our roster.
Go Skins!

Bruce is 40 and BB is 39. Other over 30 players are:
Ethan Albright 32
Jessie Armstead 32... 33 this month.
Jermaine Haley 30
Rob Johnson 30
I don't know who I missed Bernard Holsey is 30 in December. |

Get rid of Rob?? Then we will be a one quarter back team??? LOL How is that going to work for us? I heard Rod Gardner and Matt Bowen used to play quarterback but I'm not sure we want to go there.
Go Skins!

I was hoping we'd keep hold of Hamdan, he has a pretty good arm and just needs some refining. Backing up Ramsey could give him actual time with the ball. Of course just my opinion.
Go Skins!

the great SF receiver who cursed out his offensive coordinator on the sidelines last week and has been all over the sports news this week
signed a ball on Monday Night Football last year after a touchdown in the endzone with a Sharpie!
spiked the ball twice on the star at mid-field in Dallas after scoring - I have to admit, I loved that! - hotdogging, but against the cowpukes anyhow |
