Dolphins could replace Rogers with Gadsden
The Lions may have to go shopping for a receiver after losing Charles Rogers for at least a month. The Palm Beach Post's Craig Dolch reports that the Lions could sign former Dolphin Oronde Gadsden.

Lack of cap room may keep Dolphins from dealing
Even though they just restructured Olindo Mare's contract, the Dolphins still don't have enough cap room to make any major deals. The Miami Herald's Jason Cole reports that their lack of cap room will likely keep the Dolphins from dealing Jamar Fletcher or re-signing Todd Wade.

Has Cowher worn out his welcome in Pittsburgh?
It looks like Steelers fans have had enough of Bill Cowher. Pittsburgh Tribune Review columnist Sam Ross Jr. writes that "a vocal segment of the populace" is calling for Cowher's head.

Vikings expected to pass on Giants' Dayne
The Giants may have trouble finding a taker for Ron Dayne. Although the Vikings asked about Dayne in the spring, the St. Paul Pioneer Press' Bill Williamson reports that the Vikings are unlikely to make the Giants an offer for the struggling running back.
