| Here is a fact GE needs to get on the ball, he is a professional NFL defensive Coordinator for the Washington Skins. No excuses!!!!Show up or Ship out. |

Woo - if Tampa - as redskincity says, is running a 1 or 2 wr setup - that is the CB responsibility to take them out. If that happens, the LBs and the safeties creep up and smother the short game. If they go to a spread offense, then you have one LB key on the HB, one key on the FB (if they have one in there) and you either play nickel or dime packages. It isn't that hard, and blitzes can come from all angles. The one time we sent someone in - they got to Johnson. Someone besides LA who they are watching for... in fact if Edwards was a brilliant DC - he would send LA in on one side and a back on the other - LA draws the backs and the DB nails the QB.
Just a thought or two

Point well taken for sure. We can sit here and discuss the right defensive packages and break down the game Madden style...however this is just as much shoulda, coulda, woulda, as redskincity is lambasting above.
No one seems to mention the fact that Johnson rolled out on those plays....that is one thing that was crucial to the plays success and something no one expected. |

Yeah woo that is what boards and threads are all about, fella..
As far as Johnson rolling out, he made what he did on three previous TDs look just alittle prettier than the last and we have to coach better. |

Everyone knows the threads are about discussion, disagreement, speculation, and support for our beloved team. I never disputed that.
What is counter-productive IMO to making the board the best SKINS board on the net is the adversarial tone of a lot of your posts...esp toward me today.
I will disagree and agree with a lot as much time as I spend here -- but I won't make a point to attack and jump on other members cases like you seem to love to. |
