I think the Cap is good, but we need to do two things:

1. Raise the Cap number from 85.5 million to 95 million. That would allow teams who do a good job marketing and generating revenue (like the Skins) to be rewarded with the ability to spend a little extra. I think 95 would not give an unfair advantage, the good markets could take advantage, and the bad teams could afford more talent.

2. Change the rule for situations when the player initiates a trade. i.e. Coles situation. As it is now, the team trading the player after March 1 has to eat the whole years salary, even when the player is the side who wants out. The rule is to protect players from being traded around willy nilly, but sometimes jerks demand trades, or else act disgruntled and it penalizes teams for their antics.
