When is camp?

Redskins training camp will open on August 1st. Check the schedule page for practice times.

How much does it cost?

Admission is free, and so is parking!

What should I bring?

Chairs - There will not be any bleachers, however picnic benches may be set up. Chairs or something to sit on are still a good idea. The ground is often dewy in the morning, so a blanket is often a good idea as well.

Money - Concession stands and merchandise trailers will be set up.

Food and Drink - It's usually pretty hot during camp, make sure you've got something there to eat and drink. Alcohol is prohibited. Food and drink is also available for purchase from vendors on the training camp grounds.

Bug Spray - The Redskins had the best mosquito zappers that money can buy , but the black flies don't seem to be affected. Make sure you have some bug spray in case you want to watch practice from a vantage point that is close to the woods.

Memorabilia - not all players stop and sign autographs after practice, but some do. Bring your favorite Redskin hat or football along and try to get it signed by your favorite Redskin. Merchandise is also available for purchase at the aforementioned trailers.

What time should I get to Redskin Park for practice?

Please note that this year practice times have been changed. Practices typically have started at 9:00am for the morning practices and 4:00pm for the afternoon ones, but not this year. Morning practices will start a half hour earlier (8:30AM) and afternoon practices will often start a half hour later (4:30PM). It's a good idea to try and arrive at least half an hour before practice starts if you want to say hi to the players as they make their way out to the practice field. Practices are usually about 2 hours in length. Please check the schedule page for exact times each day.
