TheHogs.net put the finishing touches on their inaugural tailgate season last Sunday. Once again we were honored to tailgate with the Hogettes. The chili was hot, the beer was cold, and the Redskins closed out the season with a win. It doesn’t get much better than that. We had fun getting to know many of you this season... guys like JP Fair, Wysocki and the Canadian bothers, you’ll are great fans and we look forward to tailgating with you next season. Be sure to check out the photo gallery for pictures of the tailgate parties.
We were also privileged to again attend the Redskins 'after party' in the player’s parking lot. This week’s party was, as you would imagine, more upbeat than the Eagles game. Many players attended, Cory Raymer, Patrick Ramsey, John Hall, Chris Samuels, Brandon Noble, Ladell Betts, Cornelius Griffin and Darnrien McCants to name a few. I had a nice conversation with defensive coordinator Greg Williams, who assures me he’ll be back next season.
We will stay busy in the off season planning a bigger and better tailgate party for the 2005 season. So start planning to join us now... we would like to get as many of you as possible to become regulars with us at FedEx next season. We will also stay involved with the Redskins during the off-season all the way up to camp. Be sure to stay plugged in to theHogs.net for all the latest information on some of the team’s off-season events.
Thanks again for all of you who came out and supported theHogs.net. It’s you the members that make it so much fun for those of us here at the site. The tailgate party gives us the opportunity to put some faces to the names! Have a safe and healthy 2005 and we’ll see ya at the stadium!
